Are there any readers out there that use public transportation to get to work? I take a bus and a train. I recently noticed that while there are numerous lively conversations between passengers on the way home, on the way in to work the passengers are silent. I mean, dead silent. I mean, morgue silent. I mean, "I just finished watching the 12:50 sketch on
SNL and I don't get it" silent.
Are people so upset that they are on their way to school/work that they can't bring themselves to utter so much as a syllable?
And in the evenings are they so elated that their day is over that they can't help talking to everyone around them?
Dylan, you take the train, right? Have you noticed the same thing? Anybody else notice this?

Yeah, I take the train, but I also live in Clevland. We keep to ourselves the whole ride. Because we are hard-nosed Midwesterners in a dying city.
BTW, I'm glad you have a blog again. I missed you. The Internets missed you also. But also me.
PS: You need to get in on Twitter.
